What keeps The Iceman so cool behind the wheel?

Focusing on a fuel-saving strategy

Scott gets more out of his car than most drivers. At the 2024 race in Long Beach, CA, he drove the last 34 laps of the 85-lap race on a single tank of gas and won by 0.9798 seconds.

Finding success on and off the track

Scott Dixon has been carrying the PNC logo and colors on his firesuit and No. 9 Honda for his last two INDYCAR Series championships in 2018 and 2020. For team owner Chip Ganassi, the relationship with the bank is personal. “I opened my first checking account with PNC when I was a youngster in Pittsburgh,” Chip told INDYCAR.com when he announced the bank as the primary sponsor before the 2018 racing season.
